Balancing on a high wire is a very pure form of 'playing with Balance'. The absurdity of Philippe Petits walk a few hundred Metres over New York Citys streets, decreases in the moment I see the act as a whole.
Without questioning it's a bodacious ability to stay in balance. But more than this it shows the extreme incertitude of our existence, the value of every single step even if it's a very small one. Philippe Petit is able to walk over the high wire just because he is permanent successful not to fall down!
Petit gives a monologue. He interacts just with himself, there's no other influence on his balance than his own movements - regardless of the wind.
I'd like to find a way showing the correlation of two or more 'elements' searching their balance as an individual in a system.
